Yerevan, November 2025 – The Audit Chamber has launched an intensive two-week development program in November within the framework of the 2025–2030 institutional cooperation initiative with the Swedish National Audit Office (SNAO).
The planned activities aimed to enhance the Chamber’s institutional capacity and capabilities across various areas of audit practice and strategic management.

Discussions with Swedish partners focused on the development of the Chamber’s strategic management system, as well as best practices in monitoring, follow-up, and the preparation of annual reporting.

The main purpose of the visit of SNAO performance audit experts was to strengthen the Audit Chamber’s skills in planning, conducting, documenting, and using interview results within the framework of performance audits.

As part of the visit, a workshop was held dedicated to exploring the differences between financial and compliance audits, discussing specific case examples, and reviewing the framework of professional pronouncements issued by the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI).

The cooperation program between the Audit Chamber and SNAO is ongoing and aims to further improve the quality and transparency of the Chamber’s processes. This visit by SNAO experts represented a significant contribution to strengthening the Chamber’s internal procedures, tools, and professional capacity.
The knowledge and skills gained will support improved transparency, accountability, and effectiveness within the Audit Chamber, underscoring its key role in advancing good governance in the public sector.
