On March 2nd, 2022 the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia elected Mr. Atom Janjughazyan as Chairman of the Audit Chamber (Supreme Audit Institution) of the Republic of Armenia.
The candidacy for Chairman was ballotted by the fraction of the ruling party of the National Assemby.
Mr. Janjughazyan's career path in public sector includes almost 26 years of experience at the Ministry of Finanace of the Republic of Armenia. The last leading positions took by him were First Deputy Minister, Head of Treasury at the Ministry of Finanace (from 1999-2018), as well as Minister of Finanace (May, 2018 to August, 2021).
